# Kiro usage and design review

Kiro IDE1.4.62, GitHub sign-in, Free plan. Auto was used for synthetic access testing and to generate architecture, requirements, acceptance criteria and a candidate `validate_claim` function. The architecture response reported estimated0.46credits/34s. The private/local transcript is retained as evidence; no account identifiers or private session logs are published.

The implementation retained the two-app/shared-core structure, untrusted-record framing, evidence membership checks, bounded context, unknown fallback and human-review requirement. Review changes: narrow explicit diagnostic phrases instead of broad keywords; reject empty/duplicate/malformed/unknown IDs; validate against only submitted complete records; do not assign confidence by record count; keep UI/signals working when the model is offline.

Root `.kiro/steering/product.md` and `.kiro/specs/incidentops-starter/` document the final design. These files were curated after the architecture review; we do not claim they were all generated by a Kiro spec workflow. Codex implemented and tested the source. No unimplemented Kiro feature is claimed.
